Hoher Sarstein - 1975 m

starting point:	Bahnhof Steeg, Pötschenstraße or Pötschenhöhe
time:	4-5 Std., to Obertraun 8-9 Std.
Sarstein is a mountain with a beautiful view and on Niedere Sarsteinalm is one of just a few alps around, where you don´t find any road. The alp is open during summer. Imagine, the cows walk up to the alp between 3 and 5 days. From the top you can see Dachstein, the glacier, Gosaukamm and lake Hallstättersee. The way from Pötschenhöhe is not very good and also quite steep.
