The refuge
Adamek ist the starting point for climbing up Dachstein, which is
beside Großglockner the most famous mountain in Austria. The
Dachstein is the most beautiful mountain in the northern "Kalkaplpen"
and therefore a asked goal for mountaineers from all over. The way
up is not easy and is only reserved those who are experienced. The
way up to Adamekhut is wonderful, so even if you don´t want
to climb Dachstein, it is worth to walk up to Adamek. It takes 4
hours and on the hut a very nice sun terace is waiting for you.
