This alpe offers a wonerful view to Dachstein and Gosaukamm. Starting point is the tourist information of Gosau, situated opposite the post office beside the road junction.
From the tourist office you follow the road towards Bad Goisern; where a big sign shows the way to Iglmoosalm and Goisererhütte. At a forest road you can put your car at a small parking place. You follow the forest road just 50 metres. Turning left you cross a small meadow with two wodden soccer goals. After 10 minutes you will reach again the forest road which you could have followed too, but it is much longer.
At the next turn just 50 m further you leave the road again and a small path is carrying you up to Iglmoosalm.
Of course, you can walk on from Iglmoosalm to Goisererhütte, which is a popular walking destination which you can also easily reach from Bad Goisern.
